Absolutely no complaints about the hotel or the service we received there. The only down thing I would say is that the pool is not as big or as nice as the pictures make out, but thats true of most hotels I find, and again, no complaints, just not a nice as we thought. The location is fantastic, especially with kids in tow. There is 2 playgrounds and water spouts at the end of the street (about 5 houses away) and the beach is there too.
Caloundra shops is a walkable distance too and its only about 20 mins to Aust Zoo and Underwater World and about 25/30 mins to Big Pineapple.
Very clean place. Beach and local park to hotel was great when staying with kids and free BBQs along many beach places that were clean and good. Must do Australias Zoo (although a little pricey is a good place) and Underwater World was lovely. Big Pineapple has gone downhill in the 13 years since our last visit and although it is free to enter the 2 main things to do are nutmobile ride and train ride and they do cost (a family was to do the both).
