The moment we arrived at Nirvana we were impressed. The views were stunning. The gardens were beautiful and the house itself was so spacious and tastefully decorated. I stayed with a group of female friends, all seeking time out from mum duties. We had everything we needed. Champagne on the balcony, while taking in the sunset. Nibbles on the back deck, soaking up the afternoon sun and breakfast by the pool, looking over the hills.
It was the perfect place to unwind, catch up with each other and feel our stress just melt away. We plan to return but next time for longer. I would happily recommend Nirvana to anyone looking for a holiday. There was plenty to do but it was also very easy to do nothing while soaking up the sounds of nature, the serenity of the gardens and the stunning views.
The nearby Kondillilla falls have various walks you can do and are definitely worth a visit. We even spotted a playpus. We enjoyed a stroll through Montville where we visited galleries and specialty shops. Afterwards we sat down to compare our purchases over a cool beer in the lovely beer garden at Montville Inn. The mood was very relaxed with live music to complete the experience. That evening we enjoyed a sumptuous dinner at the Reserve Restaraunt Maleny.
We learned that there are few restaraunts open on Sunday night in Montville so it is definitely worth booking for this night. Back at Nirvana we had a glass of Maleny Port by the open fireplace to complete a wonderful day.
