Although the apartment was large and right across from the beach it really needed a good clean. The floors and window sills were filthy and one of the windows couldn't actually close. There were dirty towels left in the washing basket from the previous tenants. The curtains were ripped and dirty. Light globes hadn't been replaced and one of the taps at the bathroom sink didn't work.
